Delete Your Ondar Account and Submit Privacy Requests

This page explains how to delete an Ondar account, remove a website waitlist record and exercise applicable privacy rights. You do not need to pay a fee for a standard request.
Delete an app account
Open Ondar, go to Settings, choose Delete Account, review the consequences and confirm. Ondar will deactivate the account for 30 days. The profile will no longer be available to other users during this period. You may restore the account by signing back in before the 30-day period ends.
After 30 days, Ondar begins permanent deletion of the account and associated data, subject to the limited retention described below. If you do not want the 30-day recovery period, email privacy@ondar.co from the account email and ask Ondar to finalize deletion immediately. Once final deletion begins, the account cannot be restored.
If you used Sign in with Apple, Ondar will revoke its associated Apple authorization token as part of deletion.
Subscriptions are separate
Deleting an account or the app does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription. Cancel through iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Ondar, or use Apple’s subscription management page. You may cancel before deleting the account.
What is deleted and what may remain
Final deletion is designed to remove or de-identify the account, profile, NOW and LATER identities, messages and media still associated with the account, location records, preferences, contacts entered for safety features and other account content, according to Ondar’s retention schedule.
Ondar may retain limited records when reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, transaction and tax records, charge disputes, safety reports, legal claims, regulatory duties, litigation holds or enforcement against repeat abuse. Ondar may retain a restricted irreversible or pseudonymous identifier to prevent impersonation, ban evasion or recreation of an abused identity. Data already aggregated or de-identified so it cannot reasonably identify you may remain.
Deleting your account cannot delete content that another user independently created, information already disclosed to authorities, or Apple’s own transaction records. Backup copies may remain inaccessible until they are overwritten in the ordinary cycle.
Website waitlist deletion
To remove your website or beta waitlist record, email privacy@ondar.co from the registered address and state that you want the waitlist record deleted. Include the email and city used to register. Ondar will also honor applicable requests concerning related form events and marketing preferences.
Other privacy requests
Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion or portability of personal data, or opt out of or limit certain uses. Email privacy@ondar.co with:
- the right you want to exercise;
- the email, phone number or OnPin associated with Ondar;
- your state or country of residence; and
- enough detail to identify the data or processing involved.
Ondar will verify the request in a manner proportionate to its sensitivity. Do not email passwords, government identification or intimate images unless Ondar specifically requests a safe verification method. An authorized agent may submit a request where law allows, subject to proof of authority and identity verification. Ondar will respond within the period required by applicable law.
If Ondar denies a request, the response will explain the reason and any available appeal process. Send an appeal to privacy@ondar.co with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject line.
